The Women’s March, demonstrations held throughout the world on January 21, 2017, to support gender equality, civil rights, and other issues that were expected to face challenges under newly inaugurated US President Donald Trump. The march was initially scheduled to be held only in Washington, DC, but “Sister Marches” arose throughout the United States and numerous other countries. According to some estimates, as many as 4.6 million people attended the various events and it was widely believed to be the largest single-day demonstration in the US’ history.

I chose to participate in my local march in Santa Cruz County where I recreated Jimbo Phillip's’ (a local Santa Cruz artist) famous screaming hand. I turned it into a screaming vagina playing off of, “This Pussy Grabs Back”.
